Introduction
From its origins as the first university specializing in economics and management in Vietnam, established on October 27, 1976, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has grown into a key national public university. In October 2023, the Prime Minister signed Decision 1146/QD-TTg on transferring the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, making it officially one of 7 higher education institutions in Vietnam operating under the “Multidisciplinary University” model and marking an important milestone for UEH in upgrading its management model.
With a vision to become a multidisciplinary university with reputable academic influence focusing on sustainable development within Asia by 2030, UEH commits to enhancing and elevating knowledge acquisition and breeding young talents in the age of globalization and integration while pioneering innovation and public services.
