Professor Viet Anh Dang holds the position of Professor of Finance at Alliance Manchester Business School, the University of Manchester. He is also an editor of the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting (ABS3 / ABDC A*), a prestigious journal recognized internationally for its contributions to research in accounting, corporate finance, and governance. His current research interests cover empirical issues in corporate finance and sustainability.
Professor Dang is a fellow of the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Peer Review College and contributes to the editorial efforts of the Journal of International Financial Management & Accounting and the Journal of Sustainable Finance & Accounting. He is actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including the American Finance Association (AFA), Financial Management Association (FMA), Society for Financial Studies (SFS), European Finance Association (EFA), and European Financial Management Association (EFMA).
As a founding member and former President of the Vietnam Finance Association International (VFAI), Professor Dang has demonstrated significant leadership within the field. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Intellectual Society in the UK and Ireland (VIS).
