The organizers of Vietnam Economists Annual Meeting 2018 (VEAM 2018) would like to announce that partial financial support may be made available to eligible applicants. Please note the followings:
- To be eligible, your paper must be accepted for presentation at VEAM 2018.
- For papers with multiple co-authors, VEAM 2018 will only support one co-author who presents the paper.
- High priority is given to young and early career researchers including Master and PhD students.
- The support is for applicants to cover accommodation costs related to the event. Travel costs will not be supported.
- Financial support will be made on a first-come-first-served basis. The financial support is decided on a rolling basis from now to May 30th, 2018.
If you intend to apply for financial support from VEAM 2018, you need to send the following documents to us by email (veam2018@depocen.org) no later than May 30th, 2018:
- (For students) An official proof of your current student status, issued by your university/institution
- An official Letter of support sent by the direct supervisor/advisor at your current university/working place.
You are strongly encouraged to apply for travel/conference grants and financial supports from your universities, employers and institutions. Should you need an early acceptance letter from VEAM 2018 to apply for funding from your employer/institution, please contact us at veam2018@depocen.org so that we can expedite the review process of your paper.
The deadline for paper submission to VEAM 2018 is April 15th, 2018. You can submit your paper to the event by the link: http://veam.org/paper-submission
